De plus, il est utilis\u00e9 pour fabriquer des pi\u00e8ces petites et simples telles que <strong>tubes<\/strong>, voire des pi\u00e8ces issues de l&#039;industrie a\u00e9ronautique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Comment fonctionne le soudage TIG ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour que le soudage TIG fonctionne, la pr\u00e9sence d&#039;un <strong>\u00e9lectrode de tungst\u00e8ne<\/strong>. Le m\u00e9canisme est simple : le <strong>courant \u00e9lectrique<\/strong> est distribu\u00e9 \u00e0 travers le <strong>\u00e9lectrode <\/strong>qui a la particularit\u00e9 de r\u00e9sister \u00e0 la temp\u00e9rature et de ne pas fondre. L&#039;\u00e9lectrode forme un <strong>Arc \u00e9lectrique<\/strong> ou volta\u00efque qui chauffe et <strong>liqu\u00e9fie le mat\u00e9riau<\/strong>. C&#039;est-\u00e0-dire qu&#039;il chauffe et fait fondre une pi\u00e8ce qui va \u00eatre soud\u00e9e ou assembl\u00e9e \u00e0 une autre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par contre, autour de l&#039;\u00e9lectrode en tungst\u00e8ne, il doit y avoir un <strong>tube de contact de gaz<\/strong> protecteur ou m\u00e9lange gazeux. La fonction de ces gaz est de prot\u00e9ger le mat\u00e9riau chaud contre les r\u00e9actions chimiques de l&#039;environnement, telles que <strong>oxydation<\/strong>. Le soudage TIG permet l&#039;utilisation de gaz rares tels que <strong>h\u00e9lium, argon<\/strong> ou le m\u00e9lange des deux. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00e9lectrodes de tungst\u00e8ne<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 du soudage TIG est le <strong>\u00e9lectrode de tungst\u00e8ne<\/strong>, car il a le point de fusion le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de tous les <strong>m\u00e9taux purs<\/strong> (3 380 \u00baC). Ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 se caract\u00e9rise par le fait qu&#039;il donne un excellent aspect au cordon, mais garantit \u00e9galement un <strong>p\u00e9n\u00e9tration s\u00fbre<\/strong> de soudage. Les r\u00e9sultats sont de grande qualit\u00e9, mais aussi l&#039;ensemble du processus lui-m\u00eame est tr\u00e8s <strong>rentable<\/strong>.
